Founded in 1960, the American Conference for Irish Studies is with approximately 800 international members the largest multidisciplinary organization in the field of Irish Studies. The organisation holds regional meetings across the United States, with an annual national meeting attended by over 300 delegates. Irish Studies at University College Cork is delighted to be hosting ACIS 2018, and the Committee is greatly looking forward to welcoming ACIS delegates to Cork in June 2018.
